The problem is that NC is also very strong and flexible, quite undesirable properties for grinding. So ball milling with lead is probably going to be slow, and with heavy contamination. Brass or copper media (also safe for BP) might work better.

In the past when I milled using the all rubber HF jar, I would begin to see clumping form at the jar bottom and also on the lead media. Same 4 hour mill time, same chems.
